Helen Castillo @designerhelen<\/a> (New York, USA)
Three-time finalist on Project Runway (Season 12) and Project Runway All Stars (Seasons 4 & 6). Graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, with internships at Vera Wang and Vivienne Westwood London. Her work has dressed Madonna and Mary Lambert, appeared on the Grammy Awards red carpet, and been commissioned by the American Ballet Theatre. Master of Fine Arts in Art Education from New Jersey City University.

Latin for \u201cLong live truth.\u201d Founded in 2008 from a borrowed sewing machine, Vivat Veritas upcycles vintage kimono into contemporary, one-of-a-kind garments from an atelier in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. Featured in The Japan Times \u201cSustainable Japan\u201d series.
