Last Saturday, Taren from Oslo and Alfred and I went to an exhibition by Sunae (sand art) artist, Naoshi. It was held in a small gallery in Ueno, Tokyo. I don’t remember how I bumped into Naoshi’s etsy shop, but I remember instantly “favorite”ing it on etsy. What makes her work unique is that her illustration is drawn using the colored sand, instead of ink or paint. Her illustration is colorful and reminds me of Harajuku. I bought some post cards to decorate Kiko’s room, and can’t wait to put them up.
