Pricing
*All prices exclude consumption tax.
- Semi-custom: Choose your favorite design from my existing Vivat Veritas kimono dresses. Prices start at ¥45,000. You can see my past work on Pinterest and in my Creema shop.
- Wrap dresses, bias-cut dresses, jumpsuits, etc.: ¥45,000–¥65,000
- Long dresses, mermaid dresses: ¥60,000–¥80,000
- Long dresses with a train: from ¥90,000
- Stage dresses made from uchikake (bridal over-kimono), etc.: from ¥130,000
- Toile fitting, if needed: additional ¥15,000
- Fully custom: I create a design of your choice from scratch. A toile fitting may be included when needed. Prices start at ¥80,000.
- The kimono itself is charged separately.
Delivery Time
6–10 weeks from payment
Shipping
- Domestic (Japan): From ¥360, depending on size and shipping method. Free on orders of ¥20,000 or more.
- International (outside Japan, except the U.S.): Flat rate of ¥1,700 (approx. $15), shipped by International ePacket (trackable, insured up to ¥6,000).
- U.S.: Varies by weight. For example, a 500g package costs approx. ¥4,500 (approx. $40), insured up to ¥20,000.
How to Order

- Once I receive your answers, I will get back to you with some kimono options.
- Choose a kimono, or send me your own.
- I will send you an invoice. I accept bank transfer (Japanese banks only), credit card, PayPal, or Bitcoin.
- Once the invoice is paid, I will purchase your kimono.
- Your kimono dress will be ready within 6–10 weeks of payment.
About Using Secondhand Kimono
Kimono is made from narrow bolts of fabric, usually about 35cm wide, so seams between panels are natural. When I make a dress, I match the patterns so there are no unnecessary breaks between them.
Unless otherwise noted, kimono fabric is 100% silk, both the outer fabric and the lining. If you plan to wear your dress regularly and wash it at home, please let me know. I will wash the kimono before making the dress to pre-shrink the fabric. Otherwise, the dress will be made from unwashed fabric and should be dry-cleaned only.
Because I use secondhand kimono, there may be some discoloration or stains. I avoid those areas as much as possible, but it may not always be possible to avoid them entirely.
Remnant fabric is not included unless you request it in advance. If you would like the remnant fabric sent with your dress, there is an additional ¥1,000 charge for international shipping (no extra charge within Japan).
