My husband and I went to a short 3 day trip to Bali, Indonesia. This was the first time we went to Bali, and we both loved it there!
Nice beach with great waves. We tried surfing for the first time. I got a lot of scratches and bruises on my legs, but I enjoyed it very much. I would definitely try again this summer.
Soto Ayam – My favorite Indonesian dish! I love any kind of noodles in soup. 
Went to Monkey Forest in Ubud and fed the cute monkeys. One of them actually attached me because he found that I was hiding more bananas in my pocket. I guess he smelt it..
Hotel pool
People were really nice and helpful there. I didn’t have to argue with cab drivers to use meter, like I always had to do in Thailand.
People asked us if we were on Honeymoon. Although we’ve been married for 3 and a half years, it felt as though it was our second Honeymoon. I’m so sad that my vacation is over now:(

short getaways are such fun! did you catch a wave surfing? I've only learned once before when I was on my honeymoon and it was an awesome experience standing up on that wave.
