26 weeks! We finally found out last weekend that we are having a girl! It came as a surprise, because as you could tell from my previous posts, I’ve been calling the baby “he”. I didn’t want to call the baby “it” obviously, and I was convinced that it was a boy, because my husband’s side has many boys. Now we have to get used to calling the baby “she”:) I’m very excited! Pink and ruffles!
My husband’s parents are especially thrilled, since they’ve always wanted a girl but had all boys.
So at the doctor’s visit, the nurse nagged me about weight gain again, but I managed to brushed it off. I’m getting used to it now.
Other than that, the baby is doing well, she moves a lot, now her head measures 7.5 cm in diameter, and she weights little less than 1000 grams. I can’t believe she will triple in size in the rest of 3 months of my pregnancy!

Right now I’m loving this little vintage dress I bought from brown bag vintage on etsy. It’s not maternity, but I made a little trick when I wore this dress. The dress closes with buttons all the way down in center back. I unbottoned one around waist to fit my growing belly, and with a cardigan one, no one can tell my dress is open a bit:p It seems like I can wear this dress with backside in front as well, and it will be great for nursing..oh oops just realized that the material is 100% silk and dry clean only!
