Spring + Bridal Photoshoot Behind the Scenes

bts3Some behind the scene pictures of the last week’s photoshoot. We shot two Spring white dresses (I’m into white on white look!) and wedding dress that Rina made. We shot at the studio in Jiyugaoka. I was happy that we could shoot indoors, as the weather here has been so cold, it actually snowed in Tokyo for the first time this winter. Can’t wait to share the finished photos here!

Build-a-Dress:: Moroccan Tea Glass Dress

I still remember the time my host family in the U.S. took me to get “build-a-bear” at a mall when I was in high school. I know it was for little kids, but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless. I picked the heart and put sole into it, stare in amazement as the bear was pumped with some fluff, picked clothes and shoes. I don’t know what happened to the bear (it might have gotten lost during so many moves), but the excitement of building the bear stayed.

As I came up with the idea of “build-a-dress“, I wanted it to be as exciting for my customers as it was for me as at the build-a-bear store. Thankfully, Spoonflower offers so many different fabric options from many fabric designers in the world! The one I recently made is with “Moroccan tea glass” fabric by miss bluemchen fabrics.

上記の写真は、モッロコ風ティーグラスという生地で作ったもの。

Tokyo Visual Arts at Gallery LE DECO

KINETHIC COLOR BARS.Still006A while back, I provided a wardrobe for a promotional video shot by students at Tokyo Visual Arts. Now the video is ready, and will be exhibited this week (1/28/2014-2/1/2014, the Video will be running on 1/28, 1/30 and 2/1 only) at the Gallery, LE DECO in Shibuya! The wardrobe pieces provided were my personal ones, including the one I posted on the blog a few days ago and the one I wore to the wedding. I was not at the shoot, so I have no idea what the video is about, but am excited to find out! 以前、東京ビジュアルアーツの学生さんが作成するＰＶに衣装を提供する機会がありました。

衣装はShop用ではなく、私物だったのですが、モデルのYUKAさんに着ていただき、今週渋谷のギャラリー、LE DECOで展示されます。
