One of the best pieces of advice I received as a new parent was to go on a date with my husband at least once a week. It could be something small like taking a walk together without a child or getting ice cream. The advice really helped our relationship as husband and wife. When we are happy together and enjoying each other, I can tell that Kiko is happy and she feels secure about the stability of the family she is in. It is hard to squeeze in once a week date when both of us are working and taking care of Kiko together, but as much the opportunity allows, we try to have the time of ourselves without Kiko. Last week we visited a restaurant called La Ricetta. It is a small Italian restaurant. Their panini turned out to be the best I’ve ever had. The place will be a good memory of Zama city where we have lived for the past three years. We are moving this week, and I can’t wait to settle down in our new place.

Fashion’s Night Out in Tokyo
Have you ever heard of FASHION’S NIGHT OUT (FNO)? I joined it on 7th September for the first time!
FNO is the huge shopping event in Omotesando area, which is produced by Vogue. You can enjoy not only night shopping, but also cocktail service, free-novelty goods, DJ and etc. You just stop by any shop, and enjoy them.
I got this sticker before starting FNO.
The main place of FNO; Omotesando Hills. The opening and closing parties were held here.
Cocktail at LANVIN. Champagne, cocktail, beer… various drink welcomed you at many shops.
Yes. This is party. In front of TOKYU PLAZA.
Eco bags, chocolate candy, dry fruits, lip-balm, rings, badges, tattoo-stickers… everything is free!
It was a great chance to cruise inside high fashion brand shops, which I sometimes hesitate to enter. Some shops provided exclusive items during FNO. Watching fashionistas (real and wannabe) was also a lot of fun!
FNO is held all over the world every year. I’ll definitely go next year!

Pinspiration:: 09/14/2013
If you follow me on Pinterest, you might know that I’m OBSESSED with Pinterest now. Whenever I have a second, I go on the Pinterest app on my iPhone and browse through all the fun images! It is so addictive. I am into home decor and DIY particularly because I am moving into a new place in a few days. Here are some favorites from this week:
1. I love the idea of preparing a fun cart with goodies for the overnight guest.
2. Great idea for using an old drawer. I also like this idea.
3. DIY scallop edge pillow. Andy and I always fight over who take the pillows. We need more pillows for the new home!
4. I can’t get enough of plants.
5. We will have a small eat-in kitchen at a new place. This is a good layout for a small kitchen.
6. DIY rug!
