I came across these backstage photos of Meadham Kirchhoff’s SS 2012 show in London at Rookie, and went through the entire 66 photo collection with great curiosity. As someone who designs and sews clothes, I am always curious how the other designers/seamstresses create their collections. I like the mountain of inspirational images that they collected, and the fashion drawings. I wish I could draw better!

By the way, thank you so much for your comments on my yesterday’s post about the BurdaStyle book! You might have seen this if you follow me through facebook, but while I was in Tokyo today, I stopped by at the bookstore called Maruzen. There, I saw the BurdaStyle book!! I was super excited! It felt so surreal to see my name on the print like that. I did not buy the book because it was more expensive to buy it at the store in JP yen, but I was standing there for good 10 minutes, going through the pages. It’s a really fun book, not only because I am in it, but with all different sewing projects you can get your hands on!!
