I have been slow in updating my blog, but I often update Instagram. Also I find many amazing handmade sellers or entrepreneurs sharing their behind the scene photos or their products, and I can kill hours browsing through! When I am on the train, I am either on Instagram or Pinterest.

Here are my March moments:

1. It has been a busy month sewing! I try to come up with a sewing schedule at the beginning of the month, and stick with it. As I finish a project or task, I get cross it off the to-do list, and I get the greatest joy out of that simple slash mark.

2. Made myself this pink coat and have worn it a lot already. Blogged here.

3. Andy and I went to Ho Chi Min city for a mini vacation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I love all-you-can-eat hotel breakfast.

4. My late afternoon is usually spent with Kiko at a park. I made her a matching pink coat.

5. Bridesmaid dress in Tiffany blue. It’s available in 40 different colors.

6. Cutest cube sugar I came across at a restaurant in Ochanomizu.

7. Boho-inspired lace & chiffon dress for a lovely bride.

8. I’m almost done decorating our living room! I bought myself first “art” as my early 30th birthday gift. It is titled “water in ink” and from BoConcept, Denish furniture company.

9. We had a photoshoot at an antique studio in Shibuya. It is a shop, but you can also rent the studio space. Also everything up there are for sale. If you are into antique, you would love this cute studio (unikk).

october instagram update vivat veritas1. I took the full advantage of Shopbop family & friend sale (25% off!) earlier this month! I bought Rag & Bone Hallow booties (available here), and although they were expensive, they are the most comfortable and walkable heels I have ever worn. As soon as you put your feet in the booties, you feel the soft leather wrap your feet! I just can’t believe how comfortable they are.
2. I decorated our master bedroom with wall decals from etsy, ikea light hande me down from Taren of Oslo and Alfred, and handmade pillows.
3. After a few months of putting my hair in a bun because of intense summer heat, It finally began to cool off so I was able to get a my hair straightening treatment and cut. It feels so nice to have a smooth hair.
4. Simple DIY: Decorate a dollar shop mirror with pretty washi tape.
5. Happy Halloween! We went to a punpkin patch, blogged here.
6. I found this black chandelier on craigslist and bought it for my sewing studio. I like it, but Andy detests it. He thinks it looks vampireish. Yay or nay?
7. Delicious Japanese lunch box.

September literally flew by. Although it is still warm outside, I can feel the beginning of winter by the chilly mornings and evenings. We had a lot going on this month that kept us busy, from baby shower, wedding to moving into a new place in Tokyo. september instagram update by vivat veritas1. Attaching the bows one by one.
2. I ran the biggest sale in my shop earlier this month due to the move! Thank you so much for those of you who purchased from me, for helping me to lighten up my boxes.
3. Isn’t this the cutest baby shower cake ever?
4. Lovely Ashley wearing the VV culotte style shorts to NYFW! You can get yours here.
5. Pad stitching away the tuxedo jacket lapels! It is time consuming but relaxing to use hands at the same time. Gertie’s Lady Gray coat sew-along has been tremendously helpful in this.
6. Completed the jacket sleeves.
7. We moved to downtown Tokyo this month. Here is the glimpse of our new Japanese style bedroom. I have a lot left to organize and decorate.
8. Kiko drew that and said “This mommy”.
9. I concluded the September by attending a wedding in the woods, place called Chichibu. There I found a swing hung on a tree. Too much fun on the swing as you can see.
